During this process, you’ll need to provide the information completed by our collection agent on the returned section of your log book (V5C).
If you don’t have your V5C, then you should request a Certificate of Destruction to be sent to you when booking your vehicle in for scrap. A signed copy of this document can be sent to DVLA to prove that your broken car has been de-polluted and crushed. Make sure that you keep the original copy of this document for future reference!
