Have Some Plugs That Need Scrapping? You're In Luck!

We have scrap metal collectors on our network who pay fantastic prices for your scrap plugs!

What Are Scrap Plugs?

Scrap plugs, in their simple form, are connectors found on the end of certain cables. These ‘plugs’ can be cut from the wire and sold spare to scrap metal dealers and collectors.

Within the plugs, a pin connects the connectors. Within the plugs, you will commonly find some brass which can be collected and sold.

What Are The Prices For Scrap Plugs?

Prices for scrap plugs aren’t set in stone!

Certain scrap metal merchants will only accept and pay for scrap plugs if they have been removed from any wiring.

Additionally, the less water product attached to the plugs when being old will account for a better scrap price.

For example, if you were to dismantle the plugs and collect the brass, then sell it on its own, you can expect to receive a better price than if you kept everything intact.

For this reason, prices for scrap plugs are affected by brass metal markets. Other factors to consider are where you are, how much you have, and how much you’ll receive from certain buyers of metal waste.
