If, for any reason, the payment does not go through during this window, it will be issued no later than 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the next business day. The exact time for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank’s processing times, but it generally takes up to 48 hours for the payment to clear.
This approach ensures that all transactions are conducted securely and in compliance with the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, which prohibits cash payments for scrap vehicles.
