There are a few things you should ensure are done before collection.
Here’s a brief overview:
Our transport team will be in touch around 1 hour before they arrive to collect your vehicle.
Please await our driver’s call. This is typically 1 hour to 30 mins before collection.
It may be from a number you may not recognise.
Ensure you have your V5C (log book), a set of keys for the vehicle, and a valid Photo ID (either a driving license or a passport).
Missing the logbook? No problem, just have your keys and ID!

If everything’s as described, you’re guaranteed the agreed price with no hidden fees.
Payments are made daily between 5-7 pm, with funds appearing in your bank account the following business day.
Please note payment delays may result if we do not have your details on file.
Please ensure you have presented details to our accounts team before or after your collection.
You should have already received your booking number.
Please keep it safe for any future conversations we might have.

You will receive a booking confirmation for your scrap car collection.
Our drivers will ring you 30 minutes to 1 hour before collection to let you know they are on their way.
This allows you enough time to prepare.
Our morning slots run between 9 AM-12 PM, and our afternoon slots are from 12 PM-5 PM.
If you have not heard from our transport team or the driver hasn’t turned up, please call our support team to receive an update.
Depending on your bank or building society, clearing through to your account may take up to 48 hours.
Payment details only can be taken over the phone, and providing we have your details on file, payment will be processed the following working day.
You must inform the DVLA online or by post to declare your vehicle as scrap.
You can do this by filling in section 9 of your V5C under ‘selling a vehicle to a motor trader, insurer or dismantler.
You will require an 11-digit reference number of where the vehicle was crushed.
Our local agent will be able to provide this.
Payment details need to be given to our accounts team only.
Alternatively, our licenced collection agents may provide payment upon agreement for your scrap car.
Never provide your long card number or CSV to a collection driver.
We can take these over the phone when booking your collection, or you can call our team once your vehicle has been collected.
If your availability suddenly changes, do not worry; we can still accommodate you.
Please notify us ideally before the collection day if you need to change your collection time.
We will then arrange another suitable collection date for you.
